Calligraphy and Handwriting
The Calligraphy and Handwriting department is a department in the Faculty of Education and is run by one permanent professor and five part-time teachers. The classes consist of Shosha (handwriting) lessons targeting students who intend to become elementary school teachers or Japanese teachers in junior high school. We also offer other classes in Shodo (calligraphy) for those who want to teach at the high school level.
